Meet the Owners: Jeremy and Melissa
Say aloha to the new era of our tropical oasis, formerly Mel’s Place owned by Mel & John, now owned by Jeremy and Melissa.
Jeremy, who served a 26-year career in the United States Air Force until his 2021 retirement, and MelIssa, a dedicated educator, discovered the allure of Yuma during a visit in 2018.
Falling in love with the Foothills community and the sun-kissed outdoor lifestyle, they made Yuma their second home in 2020 and their forever home in 2024.
Surrounded by the tropical vibes and year-round activities, they can't wait to share their love for the island spirit with you! Join us and let the good vibes roll.

Due to the extreme heat, Hula Hut Yuma operates during the traditional "snowbird season," from October through May, bringing you island-inspired treats. The rest of the year, we take time to focus on family, recharging for the next season of fun!
